About San-O-DENT
San-O-Dent is a medical grade, scientifically formulated Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) solution that is produced to international standards. HOCl is a completely safe, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-dehydrating and effective anti-pathogenic compound that is naturally produced in our white blood cells.
HOCl is produced in the body as our first line of defense against bacteria, fungi, spores, viruses, biofilms and other pathogenic micro-organisms. In addition to HOCl’ s potent natural antimicrobial properties, it also prompts the body's anti-inflammatory and cell-repairing mechanisms, assisting the body with the healing procedure.
HOCl is 100% biodegradable and is broken down when it comes into contact with any organic material and therefore leaves behind no residues. It is not necessary to wipe or rinse the area of application after spraying, dipping, wiping or submerging it in San-O-Dent.
Application: General Sanitization
DRINKING WATER
San-O-Dent is an effective solution for the disinfection of drinking water. It is completely safe for consumption and does not give an unpleasant smell/flavour at the concentrations needed to treat water. Water can be cleaned with HOCl at a concentration as low as 2 ppm.
HOCl BREAKS DOWN VIRUSES
Viruses are extremely small and do not have cell walls, which most conventional sanitizers take advantage of to destroy microbes. HOCl denatures proteins and DNA, allowing it to break down the protein capsid, and halt the DNA replication mechanisms of the virus. Covid-19 is among the viruses that hocL is known to be effective against.
AIR VENT SANITATION
Inside surgical settings air sterility is of utmost importance. HOCl is stable when vaporized and is effective at very low concentrations and on virtually any surface. An HOCl mister placed inside the HVAC system would be suitable for ensuring high quality air in a sterile room environment.
AEROSOL DISINFECTION
HOCl has a small particle size and is therefore stable when vaporized as an aerosol spray. HOCl is effective at very low concentrations and is thus still effective in small droplet sizes.

GARGLING SOLUTION
HOCl is completely safe to be ingested at 200 ppm and is non-toxic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral. It has anti-inflammatory properties and does not carry a horrible taste. This makes it an ideal mouthwash solution
GINGIVITIS AND GUM-RELATED ISSUES
Spray this solution directly onto your gums before and after meals as well as whenever you feel discomfort of the mouth. It will reduce inflammation and assist in repairing your gums.
HALITOSIS (BAD BREATH)
It can be sprayed onto the tongue and / or in the back of the throat to clean the mouth and assist in destroying the bacteria responsible for bad breath.
TOOTH ACHES AND PAINS
Spray relatively large amounts onto any tooth ache, cavity, broken tooth, etc. as often as possible to prevent the affected tooth from getting infected or going septic and assist in healing any open wounds.

SURGICAL EQUIPMENT:
HOCl has incredible disinfection abilities, it is non corrosive and therefore can be used on all surgical tools to ensure sterility without damaging the tools.
LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY
HOCl is ideal for use on utensils in a clean room / laboratory environment. Simply spray, submerge or wipe down any laboratory equipment with San-O-Dent to ensure the maintenance of that equipment's sterility.
